From Accra to Antananarivo, the legacy of women is often linked to the virtue of being Mrs.......or daughter of........or sister of.........or mother of.....as appendages of the patriarchal societies into which we were born. Heroines are submerged or unsung, because our success appear to give the dominant male ego an unnecessary bashing or something of that sort. Structural injustices guarantee an endless cycle of gender-based violence and other needless violations of women;s rights.
